This 1979 Porsche 911SC coupe was sold new from Art Bunker Porsche of Overland Park, Kansas, and remained in the care of its second owner and their family for over four decades. Finished in black over black leatherette, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. It rolls on 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels and is further equipped with a sunroof, European-specification headlights, fog lights, window tint film, air conditioning, and a Craig cassette stereo. Acquired by the seller in 2025, this 911SC coupe is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records and a tool roll.

The car is finished in black and was repainted under previous ownership at an unknown time. European-specification headlights have been installed, and further details include a sunroof, fog lights, window tint film, and dual side mirrors. There is a dent on the top of the left fender.

The 16″ Fuchs wheels with black centers are wrapped in 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors.

The bucket seats are trimmed in black leatherette that extends to the individual rear seats and door panels. Appointments include carpeted floor mats, a center console, power windows, and a Craig cassette stereo. The air conditioning system is inoperative.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instruments consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline alongside a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 98k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership.

The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. The engine was removed in September 2007 for repairs, which involved machining the camshafts and replacing the timing chain, tensioner sprockets, and cylinder head gaskets. The oil was most recently changed in 2023, and the seller notes the battery and fuel lines have been replaced under their ownership.
